For over 25 years, we’ve been baking our buns off using mostly organic ingredients and, whenever possible, sourcing locally grown products. Building strong relationships with local suppliers is at the heart of what we do. We’re proud to work with incredible farms and producers like Argenta Gardens, Chuckleberry Community Farm, Kootenay Meadows Farm, Meadowbrook Farm, Treasure Life Mills, Lina’s Garden, Earthy Organics, Bent Plow Farm, Oso Negro, and Virtue Tea—just to name a few.
From grains, seeds, and vegetables to eggs, fruits, sugar, coffee, milk, and cream, most of the ingredients we use are certified organic. It’s our privilege to live and work in this community, creating delicious food that nourishes both bodies and relationships.
We offer a wide range of fresh, made-in-house foods—from lunches and snacks to breads and sweets—including options for those with food sensitivities. With over 200 items crafted right here in our bakery, favorites include Black Forest cake, Silica Street Sourdough, BC organic chicken pot pies, kale Caesar salad, fresh organic juices and smoothies, and rich brioche buns.
As a worker-owned cooperative, we operate democratically, with our worker-members involved in every part of the business—from decision-making to baking to serving our community. We share the work, the rewards, and a commitment to doing things thoughtfully and sustainably.
